SFTP login works from one WinSCP client, but fails with Access Denied from another WinSCP client

Same version of WinSCP 6.3.7 on 2 laptops. One is Windows 10, the other is Windows 11.
Win10 connects to a Remarkable2 tablet with no problem.
Win11 fails with a "Access Denied" on the password prompt.
Neither systems has the Windows default SSH (OpenSSH) client.
I've deleted the cache, checked that the configuration settings on each laptop are the same.
Any ideas on where to look?

Please attach a full session log files from both machines.

To generate the session log file, enable logging, log in to your server and do the operation and only the operation that causes the error. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.

Upgraded to equal versions. Verified that the passwords being used on both system are identical. I've got no logging from any firewall/AV type software. Also checked the Windows Event Viewer and there are no errors or information logged when I try to connect and log in.

Strange.

I'm going to dig into the SSH server – a Remarkable2, and see what I can find there. Seems like WinSCP is working fine.
