Keep the different versions of the same file

Can anybody help me on this:

There is one job, which is running daily 3 times, after completing the job there would be an Out file (ex., Temp.txt) generates every time on one of Directory.
That means there were 3 same files generating daily (let us take the files names like., Temp_2011_02_11_05_40.txt, Temp_2011_02_11_07_30.txt and Temp_2011_02_11_10_40.txt)

Requirement is, i need to maintain only 6 version of the Temp file on the Directory.

Let me know the logic how we accomplish this task.
