The problem happens rarely. I cannot reproduce it.

I had OpenSCP running all day on my laptop. I've closed and opened my laptop a few times, putting it to sleep and waking it up. This is the first crash I've ever experienced with OpenSCP so I'm not concerned about the stability.

The problem happens rarely. I cannot reproduce it.

Error occurred after un-docking and re-docking the USB-C connected DELL TB16.
This switches from wired ethernet to WiFi and back.

I often leave winscp open at the end of the day when I close my laptop lid, which puts the laptap in standby. The error appeared after logging in the next morning. This is the first time it's happened after many days like this so this is rare.

When WinSCP is idel in the background with a open connection it will randomly produce this error. just seemed to start happening after the last update or that is when i started to notice it. i might of jumped a few revisions.

I put my laptop in sleepmode at the end of my work day. This error poped up after I opend the Laptop again to start working. I switched the Network (Office to Homeoffice) otherwise nothing has changed.

The problem happens rarely. I cannot reproduce it.

If you leave WinSCP connected for longer than 24H at RDP which doesn't hibernate and (possibly) you got folders with thousands of files (like download folder on one side) the error occurs. Maybe it is related to new drives connecting upon RDP connection, or some half-hibernate RDP nature for SSH connections. Putty connections with keepalive (outside WinSCP) survive easily for 24H as far as the internet is stable.

The good message is that this doesn't kill the window and the work can continue. But on the other hand i get lot's of freezes when connecting with RDP. I normally have up to 10 scp connections opened with WinSCP into remote servers and many of them freeze (not all of them usually). It normally takes about 10 minutes for the windows of winscp to get reposponsive again after the RDP connect. I got about 5000 accounts in my winscp which could be part of the problem. I am also using logging so i can create time reports out of them.

It's becoming extremely annoying and it's easily reproducable with RDP on Windows 10 x64 after 24H (i had same problem on previous Win versions and RDP as well).

Feature request - if related to other protocols, it would be nice to be able to configure WinSCP to not load any DLLs which are not related to SCP protocol itself.

Another note - most of the servers are running latest openssl 1.1.X provided by Mr.Sury's packages for debian and ubuntu.

It's becoming extremely annoying and it's easily reproducable with RDP on Windows 10 x64 after 24H (i had same problem on previous Win versions and RDP as well).

Feature request - if related to other protocols, it would be nice to be able to configure WinSCP to not load any DLLs which are not related to SCP protocol itself.

Another note - most of the servers are running latest openssl 1.1.X provided by Mr.Sury's packages for debian and ubuntu.

The problem happens rarely. I cannot reproduce it.

This was an instance of WinSCP with two open sessions. The instance was left idle for a day or so.
One session was SCP, other other SFTP.

The connection to a remote SFTP server was using a lossy connection with minutes-long periods of connectivity loss.
The connection to the SCP was a LAN host. Most likely no lossiness on this connection.
