PlayStation 2: Cannot Modify Filesystem

Version 5.6.5 on Windows 8.1 Pro x64.

I am able to connect to my PS2 just fine.
I am trying to create, modify, and remove files and folders remotely, but I get a basic "Not Supported" error message whenever I do so.
But, on FireFTP (Firefox FTP Client Plugin), with its defaults nonetheless, I can freely modify the PS2 filesystem.
I can copy files FROM, however.

Before anyone talks about it, I am using the uLaunchELF FTP server, and am trying to edit my mass:/ directory (which is my flash drive).
I want to limit the amount of times I need to remove and reinsert the said device.

Other bugs worth mentioning:
* When you create a folder in WinSCP, you might get the error, but the folder is created somehow.
It is when you are trying to create and copy files over, that it won't allow you to do.

Re: PlayStation 2: Cannot Modify Filesystem

Please attach a full log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP). A log file from FireFTP would help too (for a comparison).

To generate log file, enable logging, log in to your server and do the operation and only the operation that causes the error. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.

Hello. Version 5.7 fixed many of the issues.
However, I am a bit concerned about it.
If I log into the console in Passive Mode, I get an error involving listing the root directory.
However, file operations work fine.

There seems to be some bug in response of the server to command LIST -a (which the server does not support).
You can workaround that by switching session settings Use MLSD command for directory listing and Support for listing of hidden files both to Off.
https://winscp.net/eng/docs/ui_login_ftp

Can you also attach log for the active mode with timestamps (enable logging to a file to get that)?

Do not forget about the FireFTP log.

Thanks.
