Mi a WinSCP
WinSCP egy népszerű, ingyenes SFTP és FTP kliens Windowshoz, egy erőteljes többfunkciós eszköz. WinSCP segítségével helyi és távoli számítógépek között fájlokat másolhat több protokoll használatával: FTP, FTPS, SCP, SFTP vagy WebDAV. WinSCP egy könnyen használható grafikus felületet biztosít az összes általános fájl- és könyvtárművelethez. Képzett felhasználók .NET assembly használatával automatizálhatják. Angolul és számos egyéb nyelven is elérhető.
Ez egy rövid leírás magyar nyelven. A legtöbb WinSCP dokumentáció csak angolul érhető el, így az itt lévő linkek is ilyen oldalra mutatnak.

WinSCP beszerzése és telepítése
A WinSCP 5.7.6 verziója magyar nyelven is elérhető.
A WinSCP 5.8.1 verziója magyar nyelven még nem elérhető el.
Töltsd le az 5.7.6 telepítendő változatot vagy az 5.7.6 hordozható változatot, vagy nyisd meg a WinSCP letöltése oldalt és válassz onnan. Amennyiben a WinSCP-t magyarul szeretnéd használni, az 5.7.6 változat valamelyikét válaszd.
Először telepítsd a WinSCP-t angol nyelven. Ezután töltsd le az 5.7.6 magyarítást innen, vagy menj a nyelvi oldalra és töltsd le onnan a “Hungarian” ZIP fájlt. Csomagold ki a hu.zip fált a WinSCP mappájába (általában C:\Program Files (x86)\WinSCP\), azaz a WinSCP.hu fájl kerüljön a WinSCP.exe fájllal egy mappába.
A WinSCP indítása után menj Tools/Preferences../Languages menübe, majd válaszd a magyar nyelvet.

File Operations
WinSCP can do all basic operations with files, such as downloading and uploading. It also allows you to rename files and folders, create new folders, change properties of files and folders, and creating symbolic links and shortcuts.
One of two selectable program interfaces allows the user to manage files even on the local computer.
Connection to Remote Computer
Using WinSCP, it is possible to connect to a SSH (Secure Shell) server with SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol) or SCP (Secure Copy Protocol) service or to a FTP (File Transfer Protocol) server.
SFTP is a standard part of SSH-2 package. SCP is a standard part of SSH-1 package. Both protocols can be run even on the latter SSH version. WinSCP supports both SSH-1 and SSH-2.
For FTP, basic FTP as well as FTP over TLS/SSL are supported. Compressed transfers (Zlib) are not supported.
Program Interface
There are two selectable program interfaces with plenty of configuration options in WinSCP.
You will have the first chance to select your preferred user interface during installation. You may want to change your preference later.
If you are using WinSCP for the first time, you may wish to select the Explorer interface as it should be familiar to any Windows user. However if you are used to the concept of Norton Commander, used by several contemporary file managers (Total Commander, FAR, Altap Salamander), choose this one. Commander interface is primarily focused on easy keyboard control. You can use it without ever touching mouse. One who is used to it can perform the operations much faster.
